Yaron Avitov is the co-founder and managing partner of Sentry Financial Systems LLC, a leading provider for collateral management software. 2 years after its inception, Sentry was acquired by Algorithmics Inc. (Nov. 2000). As co-founder and managing partner, Mr. Avitov has built and developed Sentry to be the market leader globally in its field, with major implementations at major financial institutions.

Prior to forming Sentry Financial Systems, Mr. Avitov was a Vice President and Development Manager for SunGard Capital Markets, a division of SunGard Data Systems (NYSE: SDS). During his seven year career with SunGard, Mr. Avitov was responsible for the development of SunGard’s Panorama Trading System (a trade execution system for privately negotiated transactions) and the Devon Derivatives System (an integrated Front- and Back-Office system for privately negotiated transactions). His technology experience includes development with/for Java ,  COM (Component object model), C++ , Oracle, and Sybase SQL servers. Prior to SunGard, Mr. Avitov worked for seven years at the Israeli Ministry of Defense Information Technology division.
